“In love in Croatia My wife & I brought along the whole family of 9, which included her parents aged 84 and 82 years old, her brother and wife, her sister and husband and our son, 22 years old. We spent about 10 days going from Austria, Slovenia, CROATIA & Montenegro with a half day passing by Mostar in Bosnia. Of course, the main part was in Croatia. We managed to get the elderly folks with Jakov’s help and completed the Plitvice National Parks in foot in 4 hours. The sight was breath-taking and the multiple waterfalls was an awesome sight. We did not see all 16 lakes but managed the majority. Our parents felt that the Plitvice park alone was already worth the trip. Of course, along the Check if some drugs entered double entryway, we had great memories of the rest of Croatia such as the beautiful sunset at Zadar with its sea organs. The other memorable places were Motorvun, Split, Opatija and finally Dubrovnik. It is so majestic in the day and beautiful in the night. It is no wonder that so many like to make their films here. Kudos to Jakov and his driver for the wonderful and attentive work he put in to ensure that all of us, especially our parents had a good and enjoyable time. His special attention to detail for the old folks is highly commendable. We would return again , perhaps for some island hopping travels. Definitely one of the best guides that we have had.”

“Jakov is a walking, talking encyclopaedia and his English is excellent! Highly energetic, knowledgeable and entertaining, Jakov has a knack for keeping you engrossed, even for extended periods of time. He took us (three girls, some prone to taking too many pictures!) from Split to Zagreb via Zadar (the sea organ) and the Plitvice National Park and was very accommodating with our pace! The Park was beautiful, and despite the loooooong queue at the ticket counter, we did not face any issues with the entry (kudos to Jakov)! The next day we walked around Zagreb with Jakov and Marco. Zagreb is Jakov’s home town, and he gave us the kind of perspective on the city that is impossible to match. Both added a warm, personal touch to the tour, unlike what we have had in other cities. I must add a special note about their wit and sense if humour. Just fantastic! It’s almost like hanging around a new city with your buddies (very knowledgeable ones, though)! Jakov’s love for Croatia is very apparent, and I cannot recommend him enough for your next trip to Croatia I will certainly be back to explore more of this lovely country (and the Balkan region) with Jakov!”

Jakov was amazing – he was super flexible with our plans, took into consideration our young kids (8yr old and 5 yr old boys with tons of energy). He took us to day trips by taking us to Plitvice National Park, Zagreb, Istria….he has a vast knowledge of history, culture, gastronomy and was able to share with us stuff that the kids and us would enjoy. As a guide he is fun, he knows the ins and outs for making the most of your time and some pretty pristine and fabulous less touristy spots that are great for the entire family.
